Delete your TRAMA account

How to delete your TRAMA Cross Stitch account and all of your data, from the app or from here.

Last updated:

1. If you have TRAMA Pro, cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. It is billed by the store you subscribed from, and it will keep renewing and charging you until you cancel it there. Cancel it before deleting the account:

The app reminds you of this on the delete-account screen, and Manage subscription there takes you to your subscription.

2. The quick way: from the app

It is the most direct route and the one we recommend, because the deletion is immediate and you do not have to wait for anyone to process it.

  1. Open TRAMA Cross Stitch and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Scroll down to Delete account, at the end of the settings.
  4. Read what you will lose, type your password to confirm and tap Delete my account.

The account and its data are erased right then. There is no waiting period and no way to recover them afterwards.

3. If you cannot sign in

Write to hola@tramastitch.com from the same email address you registered with, saying that you want to delete your TRAMA Cross Stitch account.

We will check that the request comes from the account holder’s address and delete the account within a maximum of 30 days. We will confirm by email once it is done.

If you write from a different address we will not be able to act on the request: it is the only way we have of knowing that the account is yours.

If you have TRAMA Pro, remember to cancel the subscription in the store as well (section 1): we cannot do it for you.

4. What is deleted

Everything you have created in TRAMA:

  • Your account, your email and your profile name.
  • Your patterns and projects, with their palettes and settings.
  • Your stitching progress, your sessions and your statistics.
  • Your journal and the photos you have uploaded.
  • Your thread inventory and your wishlist.
  • Your Stitch-Alongs, posts, comments and saved projects.
  • The images generated with the assistant, and the time-lapses.
  • Your support tickets and any files you attached to them.
  • The TRAMA Pro subscription data we store, and your purchase history at RevenueCat, the service we use to manage subscriptions.

Note that a Stitch-Along you created also disappears for the people taking part in it.

5. What is not deleted

  • The patterns other people have copied from a project of yours that allowed copies. They remain theirs, and stop being attributed to you.

  • Anonymous usage data that cannot identify you, such as the aggregated counts we use to know whether an importer is working well.

  • Your subscription in the store, if you have not cancelled it (section 1). The receipts for your purchases are issued and kept by Apple or Google, not by us, under their own terms.

We keep no personal data of yours beyond the above.

6. Before deleting: save whatever you want to keep

Deletion cannot be undone, so if you want to keep your work, export what matters to you first:

  • Patterns can be exported to PDF and to the .trama format from each project’s export screen.
  • Journal photos and generated images can be saved to your device’s camera roll.
